DPL (Dynamic Pulse Light) hair removal is a type of hair removal treatment that uses intense pulsed light (IPL) technology to target and destroy hair follicles, preventing future hair growth. It is a non-invasive, safe, and effective alternative to other hair removal methods such as waxing, shaving, and electrolysis.
DPL hair removal works by emitting a broad spectrum of light, which is absorbed by the melanin in the hair shaft and follicle. This absorption causes the hair follicle to heat up and be destroyed, while leaving the surrounding skin unharmed. Over time, repeated treatments with DPL can result in permanent hair reduction.
Compared to laser hair removal, DPL hair removal typically requires more frequent treatments, but it is generally less painful and less expensive.
